Otis Sanctuary Open House 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. Free! Visit the Otis Sanctuary to find the elusive and very rare Henslow's Sparrow. Bring a canoe and paddle the Glass Creek! Guided tours available. Special appearance by "Captain Cattail", an overeager fan of wetlands will show kids aquatic bugs and their importance to water quality. Cerulean Warbler Festival Yankee Springs State Recreation Area will host the Michigan Audubon Society's second Cerulean Warbler Festival on Saturday, June 6, 2009. There will be many conservation and tourism based organizations offering games, crafts, activities, and nature hikes in the park. Other activities include the Otis Sanctuary open house, and birding tours around Barry County. There will be several RSVP only events, be sure to send in your reservation when the schedule is published!
